Congressional Advocacy

AUA America’s Congressional Advocacy Program plays a critical role in our moving our Assyrian Cause legislative agenda forward. Through this program, our network of advocates and local branches develop close relationships with their members of Congress. These advocates drive the following agenda for AUA Americas:

Claiming the Assyrians’ rights as indigenous people of Iraq, Syria, Iran and Turkey.
Right to security
Economic development assistance.

The AUA Americas views engaging with our local members of Congress crucial component of our mission driven approach of securing the Assyrian Cause for our people. We take pride in training and energizing advocates by providing them with relevant fact based material to support them in their meetings with the Congress.
